Snow amount prediction not working
-
No matter what I use under snow it doesn't show a prediction for the amount of snow.
Were supposed to get 10", but the app always shows 1", 4",.0" it's never the same and never close to what it should be.
I've tried snow depth, new snow, and precipitation type none of which works -
@marcrnsm
What weather model are you using and what is your location ? -

Maybe data is just changing fast.
NOAA says (now 1/25 6:00 PM PST) Snow, mainly this evening. Snow accumulation around an inch. Cold with lows around 10 above. North winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of snow near 100 percent. Wind chill values as low as 1 below, which is what I see on Windy:

Above is the Metrogram when clicking directly on the Sandusky name (link) on the map, regardless of what overlay you are using.
When clicking on the map just to the east of Sandusky, on the New Snow overlay, I see:

and on the Snow Depth overlay:

Are you still not seeing these figures?

Sandusky, OhioThese are not weather models.
In addition to the default model, ECMWF, in your area weather models are HRRR (high resolution), HRDPS (high resolution), NAM, ICON and GFS.
Try them specially the HR ones as you are close to a lake, so snow forecast can be a bit tricky.
