New high resolution colours scale
-
Guys you this colour scale this does not wash out light rain exposes hail core and accounts for signal weakening it took me a month to make

@Rs-Parjapati
Please provide a screenshot with that color scale -
It makes showers and light drizzle stand out quite well but the frontal rain looks much heavier than it actually is. Just my opinion.

@WeatherMan10 hi this is special design for Indian radars the problem with Indian radar the signal weakening this means if there is 60+ dbz it will show
As 54-58 that's why this is the case lot of work
Around a month -
@WeatherMan10
It would be useful to show a screenshot of the color scale from color scale settings. -
@idefix37 I forgot
-
@Rs-Parjapati
You can still do it, no? -
@idefix37 what is the points now
-
@Rs-Parjapati
You provided the code for your color scale. OK
But that doesn't tell Windy users anything until they enter the code to see the scale and the rendering on the map. Why didn't you do it yourself?
Fortunately, @weatherman10 managed to do it for the map.
Could you do the same for the color scale?
This is what I mean:
-
It is very long so split into a few screenshots

-
Thank you for doing the job that @rs-prajapati isn't doing!
Yes, very long, I wonder what the advantage is.
Splitting 0.1mm in 7 steps! -
@idefix37 bro I was busy
By the way 0.1 mm thing is just dbz to mm translation problem
Here the advantage of this colour scale
Excellent for showing storm structure
Exposes hail core even with signal weakening
Show monsoon rains
Looks aesthetic and more recognised as it follows the nws scale with IMD radar optimisation
Cons
The radar layer will use more data during severe thunderstorms
Takes more time to process when zooming in
Also it is night in India I will respond to any messages
In the morning

Guys imd confirm it will be installing 4 new Doppler radar in Rajasthan and one of the radar is only 89 km
From my area this will be good
