      Could someone please show me an example of:

      • Perception type is included in the Weather Radar layer.

      Not sure if I'm misunderstanding this feature?

        @anthony10
        On radar layer, we see precipitation (rain, snow, hail...).

        Go to settings and switch on "show precipitation type" ....

        1000041887.jpg

        ...and you'll have this ...

        1000041883.jpg

        e.g. precipitation south of Bern is snow!

          Perception type is included in the Weather Radar layer.

          Of course you can’t understand it! :)

                You said

                On radar layer, we see precipitation (rain, snow, hail...).

                Are you sure that hail is shown in the new precipitation type option? Rain and snow for sure.

                  @idefix37 good spotting, is this correct @gkikas-lgpz?
                  Hail forecasting has been something a lot of users have requested for a long time.

                    @idefix37
                    This is an intro. phrase.
                    Firstly I say what we see in radar (precipitation) and I analyze (in brackets) what precipitation is
                    (not to be confused with perception!).
                    Then I provided step by step instructions, how to "see" preci. type in radar layer.
                    Yes, hail is not shown in the new option.

                    Just for info..... NOAA provides hail products from wx. radars in USA
                    via MRMS algorithms (Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor).
                    https://mrms.nssl.noaa.gov/qvs/product_viewer/

                    e.g. 25 May 2025, hailstorm in Texas
