Color Gradient for New Snow Accumulation

I would like to suggest changes to the color gradient scale in the new snow accumulation window. Maybe I'm old but it is incredibly difficult to differentiate minor color changes.

I also feel the scale is off. Dark Blue could be 0" up to .8"but is the same scale as 3' to 9'. How often do we see 9' of snow in a 12hr period anyway?
