Touch controls not working and menu disappears on some Android devices (EKIY MTC23 motorcycle navigation)

While I do understand this might be an effect of a custom Android, I would like you to review the possible change to handle the usage as described below.
I am using a Android 13 motorcycle navigation as a cheap replacement for a chart plotter on my sailboat.
I can install Windy app from Play store - also managed to proprly login to my acocunt.However the application is unusable - for several reasons:
- the menu and all the layer controls appear for few seconds
but then disappear and cannot be brought back:
Scrolling the screen or zooming with touch - is not possible (no reaction) (there is a reaction for few seconds just after start, but then it stops responding to the touch).
As you can see the app also displays itself "under" the non-hideable navigation menu on the left - this is a minot issue as there are no important controls there - but other apps such as Navionics (see pic:
)
corretly discover the space availbale to them.I understand this might be difficult to replicate, but if you could check potential reasons and maybe eliminate them - I am willing to test the result

@Krzysztof-Trojan I’m experiencing the same issue on my Android device - touch controls become unresponsive and the menu disappears randomly. It seems specific to certain devices, so hopefully the Windy team can identify what’s causing it and push a fix soon.

@HermanEngland @krzysztof-trojan Hello, may I ask about more specific info about the device you use? Also, what Android and version of Windy do you have installed?
