I'm impressed by the amount of work required to design this scale, to codify the numerous color nuances.
And I don't understand what it achieves at the end. You end up with a very smooth color palette, but if you had defined a color scale every 5 dBz inside each color range, the result would ultimately be the same because the colors are automatically smoothed by the algorithm that applies this scale to the map in Windy. -

A color palette for the Radar layer has nothing to do with the quality of weather radars in a country. -
@idefix37 it has it has to account for radar attenuation
And dbz compression and for single DBz progression
