Hi all and I am sorry if someone has already posted this, but very often when I use the Weather Radar option on my desktop (Linux / Chrome) the whole computer will freeze. My guess is that we cause the GPU to get stuck somewhere, because the system continues working (for example, sound plays) and if I press Ctrl-W to close the Windy tab, after a few seconds the system unfreezes.

Is this already a known bug? Anything I can do to help diagnose and fix this? I have been experiencing it for a long time now.

@ammen99 Hello, do you see any console errors in the browser devtools, when this happens? Can you check this for us?

@suty Sorry for replying so late, for some reason I did not get a notification. I just checked it, what happens is that the WebGL context is lost. I assume that some of the jobs on the GPU get stuck forever and then the context is forcefully shut down? Here is a screenshot of the errors, let me know if I can provide any further information:

@ammen99 Hello, can you please check if you have WebGL allowed on your device and in the browser?

@Suty chrome://gpu says that WebGL is hardware-accelerated, I assume that is what you meant? If there is any other way to check it, let me know, I simply am not sure how to check.

@Suty The site does display a spinninig cube and says that WebGL is supported by my browser.

@ammen99 Okay, can you please test the behavior in the private tab?

@Suty Tried opening windy.com in an incognito window, also in firefox, the bug is still there. It is however notable that I do no longer have this issue on my laptop (which has an integrated AMD GPU) - I had issues before, but not anymore. However, on my desktop (Linux / Intel iGPU) I get this error still.
