      Can you folks show the infrared satellite info? It really helps knowing cloud heights and temperatures, and the shapes of vortices. Great site BTW

        Click on the sat. image (e.g. next to Brussels) and in IR you can see the cloud tops temperature....

        By clicking "sounding for this point"...

        ...you can have the sounding, as it comes from forecast model data.

        e.g. on location with cloud top temperature -43C
        cloud tops are computed at 22645ft.
