Display issues of forecasts

Greetings,
You have a very good product and I use it as a teaching tool but as with any product there are always a few bugs. Recently we had a large snowstorm here in southern New England USA on 2/22 to 2/23/26. The problem is with what appears on the graphic display of the weather prediction and what the hourly weather displays for a specific city or town shows. An example was during the prediction of the storm just before it struck . The graphic showed heavy snow over all of southern New England which was accurate. However, the hour to hour forecast graphic with the weather icons of snow, rain etc. showed heavy rain forecast for a specific town at the same time. This is not the first time I have observed this. The forecast of heavy rain in an obviously snow situation was quite striking! The graph depicting the area of snow was spot on, the hourly depiction was not. I wanted to bring this to your attention.
Thank you for your efforts,
Art Horn Professor of Meteorology Connecticut State Tunxis USA

Good day,What you may have mistaken for rain in the detailed forecast table is likely because precipitation is shown as snow when the value is followed by "IN" (inches). For areas using imperial units, rainfall is also shown in inches by default, which might seem a bit odd.
However, this is because in metric units, rainfall is measured in millimeters (mm) and snowfall in centimeters (cm). In this case, the value is followed by "CM" and is in blue color.
Does this clarify your question?
Or are you only talking about the weather icons (rain drops and snow flakes) in the same table?
What weather model do you use? -
@ANIRBAN-BASU
Which question did you answer "yes" to? The question about the icons?
If so, do you mean that you observed rain icons on the detailed forecast table while the map overlay showed snowflakes?
Which map layer, the one titled "Rain, Thunder" or "Weather Radar"?
