Really?

@mikeh1234
Your post is extremely unhelpful to everyone..."Really?" what?If you are wondering why it's 100....click the little "i" icon found in the bar under the pressure and particles animation toggles. It will tell you about the data

Actually now that I've seen About these data for this layer, @suty

I'm assuming that should say Severe, not Server? -
@Wheats Sorry - I'm not really in a position to "help". I submitted this because it seemed prima facie ridiculous - at least 2.5X the highest EDR value I've ever seen, and inconsistent with the other models. I'm flying there tomorrow (similar forecast) so wondered if it could be credible, or if anyone had a useful insight. Since that's probably strong enough to tear the wings off a jetliner, I guess I'll see PIREPs in time to cancel.

@mikeh1234
That's helpful lol
Inconsistent with the other models, largest you've ever seen, doesn't seem realistic from your experience. This provides context and is important is all I was saying.Maybe someone from Windy can provide some insight.

@mikeh1234 I already forwarded this to colleague, who created this data. We will keep you informed.
@wheats Regarding to the typo, you are right and I will forward it to colleagues.

@mikeh1234 Update for you:
Colleagues are aware of this issue and they work on the improvement so we can provide more realistic data. Since we offer this layer, we haven't included vertical component of the wind into the calculation and we use various different layers data for the calculation.
Right now our colleague is changing the whole calculation and it should be much better in upcoming weeks.
