Android App Unuseable

The recent update to the Android App just does not work on my phone. I can get a first forecast screen but after I try to change any parameters it freezes my phone, reqiring a restart. I have removed the app and reinstalled, but error continues. I have uninstalled for now. Please sort this as Windy is a great app!!

I recognize this problem. Have the same issue on Android with Samsung a52. Since update app has problems. Screen flashes and app doesn't work.
Normally perfect app but cannot use it atm. -
Same here.. I get a black screen and a crash, or the screen flickers fast and then the application crashes. During the flicker I can also not interact with the application

Me to! Windy is not working after update. The screen is flickering and freeze after touching it. I'm using the latest Android on a fairphone 4.
I use windy quiet often during the day while climbing and biking. I'm a Premium user too. Please fix the Bug asap.

Same here for last 5 days....screen just flashes very fast then App crashes on Android

@rwheeler Hello, our colleagues already prepared the fix for this flickery issue. It should be out in an upcoming version during this or next week.
Meanwhile, we have some information, that this is caused by using Airspaces on the map, so to use the app properly until we release it, you can turn this option off.Thank you for your patience.

@Suty This is why I don't update the app anymore, until checking the forums. I'll stay with the previous version of the app. ✌️

@Suty well that would be great....but since the flickering starts as soon as I open the App and no buttons work I can't change any settings before it crashes
