      Hello Windy Team,

I’d like to report a possible issue in the Satellite layer. In the Himalayan region, areas covered with snow are being displayed as cloud cover. I attached two images for comparison, one from Windy’s Satellite view and another from Google Maps which shows the clouds in the satellite view appearing in the same patterns as snow. Also when moving the timeline slider, these “clouds” move much more slowly than surrounding actual clouds and maintain the exact same shape and pattern throughout the animation. This suggests they may actually be static snow cover being misinterpreted as clouds.

Please let me know if you need coordinates or anything else , i'll be happy to provide them.

Thank you for your work on the platform.

This question is not new as you can see in these posts

Satellites “see” snow as they “see” clouds. It is not an issue due to Windy.
