Pressure isolines are here
-
Hi, i would also like to know when this feature will be available, at the top of this thread it states within the week ...... that was 9 days ago ?
Thankyou in advance
-
@ivo Works marvelous! Found no issues until now. What a great feature! :-)

@ppbexx We had a lot of work during hurricane Irma and also did not want to risk bringing new bugs in such critical days, so we are sorry for delay. However, public testing version of isobars is here, see: https://community.windy.com/topic/4519/new-pressure-isolines-testers-wanted/2

I do like seeing the pressure gradient with the isolines. Works very well on my PC. Does not activate on my 1st gen Ipad Mini. Thanks for your constant improvements Tomas and Ivo.

Have not been a member for long , but thoroughly enjoy this weather site, the isobars finishes it off beautifully, being an ex fisherman and study the weather a lot i find that this site is far the better one than any others i visit , keep up the good work and thank you , From stormy petrel Northeast Scotland.,

@TZ Hi there, thankyou for your kind reply, much appreciated.
Ok, trying isobars now and looking totally awsome with no problems.
Will this great feature be available on the android app any time soon ?
All the best
:-)

Excellent addition - thank you! My only comment would be that the 2 hPa spacing, as opposed to the 4 hPa that I am more accustomed to, makes it look twice as windy at first glance!
-
Aewsome work, thank you Tomas!

This new Feature is great!.
Very good. The Windy graphics and representation of Wheater situations are very good do see.
Congratulations!

How can I activate the same display on the Windy App ( as opposed to the website) I use the App on my iPhone & IPad & a web bookmark on my desktop - as a retired pilot am quite familiar with the effects of pressure and it's steering of storm activity. I live in the Caribbean so it's very very handy. I have been marked the web entry on my devices as well, but am hoping the next update to the app will bring it
Thank you so much for what is my now 'go-to' display for weather 'up the road' -
I really enjoy the new feature. Now could Lifted Index, storm relative helicity be added? That be so great...
