      Hi everyone,

I’m based in France and often check Windy to follow weather conditions in my area. Recently I noticed something interesting while streaming content on my website during bad weather, especially when there are strong winds or heavy rain. The streaming quality sometimes drops or buffers more than usual during storms.

I’m wondering if weather conditions like strong winds, heavy rainfall, or thunderstorms could actually affect internet stability or streaming performance in some areas. Since Windy shows detailed wind and weather forecasts, I’ve started checking it to see if there’s any connection between bad weather and the streaming issues I notice.

Has anyone else experienced something similar in France? Do certain weather conditions tend to affect internet infrastructure or streaming reliability?

Just curious to hear your thoughts or experiences. 🌧️🌬️📡

Hello. I'm not sure how you get your internet. (Landline, Satellite, Mobile). But satellite (services such as Starlink) can be affected by strong rain.
