Problems with model data
-
We are having problems serving forecast data right now. Our team is working on solving the issue. Everything should be restored in the following 1-2 hours.
Update: All functionality should be restored now, globally. For some models Windy still shows older forecasts. We are working on fixing this remaining issue.
Update 2: Most of the models are fixed/updated. Remaining ones should be updated in the following hour. This issue will be confirmed as solved after tomorrow testing (Central European Friday morning).
Update 3: Problem is solved. We apologize for the data outage.

We found where is the problem, but it takes a while to restore the data.
Quick fix will be: serving at least the older forecast. Question of 10-30 minutes.
Final solution: restoring the dameged forecasts - this will take 1-2 hours.

@TZ Subject: Request for Higher Update Frequency (Sub-2h) for Middle East Data
Dear Windy Team,
I am a regular user of your platform in the Middle East, and I truly appreciate the high-quality visualization and tools you provide.
However, to ensure maximum accuracy for our region, we have noticed a significant need for more frequent data updates—specifically, intervals of less than two hours. The atmospheric dynamics in the Middle East can change rapidly, and having access to near real-time updates (similar to the high-resolution models available in Europe or North America) would greatly enhance safety and planning for local users.
Could you please consider integrating higher-frequency data feeds or local high-resolution models for the Middle East?
Thank you for your continuous efforts in improving global weather data.

Dear @هليل-Shm your request is unrelated to this topic. Please open the new one in the section "Feedback and Suggestions". Short answer to your question: we are trying to provide all model runs. It is not possible to serve models with 2-hour frequency when they are calculated 4 times a day. If there is a "high-frequency" local model for your location available, we can consider adding it to Windy.

Hello @TZ
The issue is still there on the Map API, even for professional keys.
Any idea of the needed time to fix the issue ?Best regards,
-
Hi @b.rochut, does the issue still persist? And which model do you use in the API?
-
@WeatherMan10 Does the issue still persist? UKV should be fixed now.
