      I use Windy heavily on my sailboat, but for the past 7-ish days, the wind predictions will show 4 or 5 knots, and the color will show orange or red, which I associate with wind conditions from 15-20+ knots. I was out in my dinghy and can say with complete certainty that the 4-5 kt winds Windy was showing were absolutely not accurate. The wind was much closer to 12-15 kts, and I have the saltwater bath to prove it.

      I understand that mistakes are made and bugs occur, but if this simple function can't be managed, I will cancel my premium account. My wife and I live on our boat, and accurate forecast information is paramount for literal survival. I always double-check with other sources, NWS, PredictWind, local marine forecasts, etc., but there is no reason to pay for premium if the information isn't accurate.

        You haven't specified where you observed this incorrect wind forecast. What can we therefore conclude?
        Do you check the different weather models available on Windy?

        for the past 7-ish days, the wind predictions will show 4 or 5 knots, and the color will show orange or red

        How should we understand this?
        Could you show a screenshot.

            @Deyess-Kanaloa

            If all weather models are way off, how can we get a reliable wind prediction ?
