Location not showing

Just paid for premium service as unpaid version did not allow route planning or display our position. Still only rarely can we see our vessel on app, since me hours yes abd others not. Also second moving white dot always displayed around 50 nm N if us, no idea what this is or if it is meant to be another vessel?.
Each time we try to add a route first waypoint added randomly by app with no relationship to our current position. Each time we add a route as soon as we toggle away from the distance tab to other tab, such as weather, all added way points for our route are deleted so now we can’t see the waypoints to follow weather on route and use rest of the the app at same time. Please advise -
