Distance & planning - waypoint insert and GC, RL selection

Good day,
In the past, I could insert a new way point between two existing way point. Right now, I can only insert the way point at the end of the route. May I suggest to restoring this function?
At the same time, may I suggest to add the option for select the Rhumb line route or Great circle route in the Distance & planning?

To use the Route planner keeping a constant heading along a rhumb line see this workaround
However, the option to plot a route using a rhumb line (loxodromic) would be a real advantage. Few navigators plot great circle routes (orthodromic), which requires constantly changing the heading.
