Cloud Layer/Precip Heavily Pixilated
-
When I load in the Cloud Layer with Precip overlay, the precipitation is very pixilated with no work around to fix. This is consistent between different models of EURO/GFS/HRRR and has been like this throughout the day today with different model runs loaded in. It remains pixilated regardless of the zoom level as well. The rain/thunder layer seems to be fine with no pixilation.

@Jamison-Willis Hello, if you talk about those pixelated colors, it displays forecasted precipitation.
-
@Suty Yes I understand, however with the current update the precipitation that's layered over the clouds has a larger pixilation compared to how it's been depicted in the past. As an example, here's is how the models used to layer the precip over the clouds with roughly the same amount of precip in a region using the GFS model. I was just wondering if this is how the standard going with how precip is being depicted on the cloud layer, or if it's something that will be patched later since there's no way to customize it from the user end:

@Jamison-Willis Okay, thank you for your examples, I already forwarded this to colleagues. It can be related to recent changes in visualization of our maps in general, we changed the technology behind those visualizations.

Hi, the larger pattern is intentional, but we'll consider reverting it back to a smaller pattern in the next major update.
It does look like the pattern is somewhat larger than it should be in your screenshot. Can you please share what OS, screen resolution, browser and scaling settings (system display scaling, scaling in browser, font scaling, etc.) you are using?

@kubapelc My screen resolution revolves since I work on several different types of monitors for work. Typical display resolution runs at 1920x1080, running on Windows 11. For browser I'm using Google Chrome, with all recommended/normal browser scaling options applied.
