I have a question for Windy.com.
-
I'm trying to add my live camera to windy.com, but I haven't received any response regarding the review process. I want to archive my live streams on YouTube, so I'm trying to add it using a fixed URL, https://www.youtube.com/@ColdCoreStorm/live, rather than the URL of the video itself. Does windy not support this URL format? Also, if it does support it, how many days does it take from the time of application until the camera is added to windy? This post was translated using a translation function, so the wording may be strange.

Hi @ColdCoreStorm, thanks for your message and for your interest in adding your camera. At the moment, we unfortunately do not support YouTube cameras. Our system is not able to reliably handle them, mainly because the stream URL often changes (tokens get updated), which causes the stream to stop working on our side. That said, it doesn’t mean we are not interested in supporting them in the future. Our developers are already working on a possible solution, and in the meantime, we are keeping these submissions in our system. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
