Grey area covering most of the screen?
-

For about a week now whenever I m in Windy, after I click on my location in my favorites and hit 12 hour forecast, most of the screen turns grey and blocks the actual map. It is frustrating as I cannot make it go away. It remains on the screen as can be seen by my screenshot no matter what I click on after that.
Suggestion on what I may have done? Change a setting? Anything?

@DA-TOAD Hello, does this occur in every browser or just in one?
-
@Suty I only have/use one browser...google. This just started happening. I never had a problem like this before with Windy and I have been using both Google and Windy for several years. I have no idea what it might be.
Thanks you for getting back to me so quickly.
-
@DA-TOAD Can you please test more browsers? Edge or Firefox for example?
-
I am sorry, but I don't know how to do that. My computer expertise is very limited. I have had Windy for a few years and the only thing I have ever used is google.
I would like to get a pro rated on my account. This is frustrating and with that grey area it makes Windy useless to me.
Thank you for your considertion.

@DA-TOAD Hello, we are sorry about this situation, but we are not able to help you with since we are not able to replicate the behavior.
Can you provide more info about steps, you do, to get to this state? Also when this happens, does refreshing of page helps?

Hello, we've managed to find and fix a bug that might be causing this, but since this grey map issue is so rare, it is hard to know for sure. The fix will be part of v51, which should release in a month or two.
In the meantime, if this happens again, you can try zooming out the map all the way to the point at which you see all the continents, and then zooming back in to your location. That should force the map to reload the missing areas.
