Hello, using the free version on PC. Does anyone else have the same problems with the new design?

First of all, all my saved/pinned maps/layers have disappeared. Right now, I can’t pin new layers. How is the “long press” supposed to work?
Then there are the new bars at the top and bottom of the screen. They’re so massive that there’s barely any room left for the map. Is that normal? Every time I move the map, this bar appears at the top of the screen. Extremely annoying!
Previously, you could move the cursor within the timeline (weather radar); now the entire massive timeline moves, the cursor stays in one place, and can no longer be moved back and forth. Very unfortunate.

Personally, I find all these “new features” completely impractical and ugly.

Your screenshots from your PC are strange because they are the UI of the mobile app, not that of the browser version.
How do you get that? When typing "windy.com" in the browser address bar?

@Suty it's me again, still with the app ui instead of desktop ui. I found some discussions about the same problem from 2023/2024. I have no touchscreen and the problem persists on firefox and chrome as well. is there any solution to turn back to the desktop UI please.

@kaulty You are right about this issue from 2023, I remember this bug on our end. But now there is no issue in this field.
Can you please open the devtools console in your browser and check if there are any errors?

@Suty It's a Philips 8000 series Smart LED TV 40PFL8606K/02. Screen diagonal 101 cm, Res 1920x1080p, Connected via HDMI, In over 8 years i never had any issue with this configuration.

@Suty I have the desktop UI back. Today, just like the past few weeks, I was experimenting with the resolution (Browser) . At 80%, the view switches from the app UI to the desktop UI. It wasn't working that way the past few weeks. Thanks again for your help and support.
