Recently the lower part of the sounding has changed on the PC version of windy, not on my android app.
As a paraglider pilot I am using windy soundings all the time in the mountains, and it is the most important tool during my weather analysis.
Before the change, the lowest point of the sounding was located at the model surface elevation, but now it seems like the lower part of the sounding is badly extrapolated below the surface on the pressure levels (1000hPa, 950hPa, 900hPa ... ), and the surface data has disappeared !
This is really bad to analyse the convective instability. The key information about the surface temperature and humidity was replaced by meaningless extrapolations.
Please come back to the previous version of the sounding.

Thank you for your fast answer.
I tested the plugin and found out it is still using the extrapolated temperature at the surface instead of the surface data from the model.
It is really important because it gives a good idea of the surface heat flux in the model.
So I don't think this plugin is a good work around, and I hope the normal sounding will be back soon.
