Regardless of anyone's opinion, the Gulf of America needs to be updated as such.
It still says Gulf of Mexico.
      Thanks

Windy is not US federal agency.

@Gkikas-LGPZ Nope. But you'd figure that a company would want accurate information on their platform. I do on mine.
Google isn't a federal agency either, but they have their information correct.

@Benjamin-Conner-2 Google actually shows different map labels depending on the country you're accessing it from. Outside the US, it still shows "Gulf of Mexico". It's the same concept as “Sea of Japan / East Sea” and many other disputed or politically sensitive areas.

Windy provides a single global map view to everyone, so disputed areas or names will inevitably be shown one way or another.

Google is a US company, so it will naturally tend to follow US government naming conventions, at least for US users having the technical capability to show different map labels depending on the country. Windy is not a US company and doesn't have such capability and is under no obligation to adopt a single country's naming policy globally.

I direct you to this American Map printer's statement about it:

It is the Gulf of Mexico to all countries that count.

The USA does not count. Trump is your moron.

Windy is not subject to moronic law.
