Is there a way to view a longer forecast period, meaning a 3–4 hour projection instead of just 1 hour?

No, of course not.
You would say that the extrapolation of the last image of the radar loop is really very inaccurate after 3 or 4 hours, especially in the case of convective precipitation.
Better to look at Rain, thunder map and to the detailed forecast tables.
