Where did my favourite widget go?
-
I recently updated windy and saw the announcement for new flexi widget on Android. I wanted to try it out so stupidly removed my usual widget from the screen, and added a different one. And it looks like now I can't go back :(
I tried every available widget, and it's not what I used and I love - it was a wide 4x2 DAILY widget, not 1h or 3h, and it was able to show me long term forecast at a glance. Close to current "Windy Detail Widget" or "Windy Hourly Widget" - but by day not by 1/3h sections. "Windy Days Forecast Widget" only goes ahead for 5 days :(
Is there any way to bring back my old one? -
@Liliana-Ziolek Hi. We did not remove any widgets for now. I think you are referring to Windy Days Forecast Widget. It is still available and shows daily weather and temperature forecast for 5 days. The new Windy Complex Widget also shows these data - you can resize it to 4x2 or 5x2 which renders 3 to 5 days in advance. Please, let us know what you don't like about these widgets. Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

@MarkNagy Hi Mark, perhaps it's some sort of regression of options/settings available then? I could swear that in the past I could see the "long term forecast" in my widget (basically the same as is in the app when you open, for around 14 days) and not have to click into the app for this.
The format of the display was more less the same as the Windy Detail Widget, with temperatures and wind strength under - right now, because I can only select 1h or 3h in settings, it shows maximum of ~2 days - what I'd like is exactly the same display/format etc - but show it with 1day frequency not 3h. -
@Liliana-Ziolek Hi Liliana. Can you attach a screenshot of the widget you are referring to? I think the widget you previously removed was a Windy Days Forecast Widget. In the screenshot, it is the first one from the top. This widget does not have 1h/3h settings. The other possible widget you may be describing is the Windy Detail Widget. We did not touch these in the latest releases.
