Why doesn't the weather radar provide forecasts beyond 1 hour? I remember a few years ago it went beyond that. I have the premium version.

Because a radar doesn’t provide any forecast. It is an observation tool, and the next hour “forecast” is just an extrapolation of the last picture of the radar loop.

In Settings if you select Smooth radar and satellite animation, are the radar images not interpolated?

@idefix37 the interpolation happens one minute before the new scan so storm looks like they are moving 140 kmph it's true
