unable to activate forecast panel

hello,
the forcast panel, i dont know how it works, but then i login it is not there,
it disappears, and the only way to activate it is search for a place again,
even when i search for the same city i am at right now.
this is so annoying! how do i show it without constantly making a search?
I am on PC/Chrome.

If you want to get the detailed forecast panel for your location, set your location as a favorite by clicking on the small heart when you enter that location in the search bar.
