When using the internet hosted windy.com a left mouse click on the map will drop a flag with some weather data for that location.

This does not work when using the Windy application on an iPad. When using the Windy application on an iPad a single finger single tap does nothing.

Such subtle differences are very annoying.

@JimSmith_4321 Hello, our mobile interface offers really different behavior in this, there is a mobile picker as cross in the middle of the map. Do you see this element?

@Suty Yes, I see the cross. But the problem I have when using the iPad and running the windy application (not the web hosted windy.com) occurs when scrolling and/or moving - it's too easy to lose awareness of the location depicted, especially when an airport (the colored dot) is suddenly no longer visible. I need an "anchor" to indicate a constant location.

@JimSmith_4321 If you use our mobile UI with the cross, you can turn automatic update of the forecast detail off and then you have a forecast detail open for certain location, you can move the map without a change of the forecast detail.
