Radiation
-
I've noticed that outside of Ukraine, radiation readings are no longer visible in thé app on smartphone. And the radiation menu is no longer visible in the web version on computer. Is there a specific reason for this?

@pbalandier Hello, yes, we were blocked by the provider and we had to remove this data, since the provider doesn't want us to share those data. I am sorry about this, but we cannot do much.

😴it was one of my favourite layers. Can you share the provider so we can ask for access to them directly?
-
@Blue-Memo Hello, we used to get these data from EURDEP for this layer, however, we tried to communicate this out to keep their data but without any success.

@Suty Perhaps a bureaucratic obstacle? In Directive (EU) 2019/1024 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on open data and the re-use of public sector information (recast) one can read :
(13)
One of the principal aims of the establishment of an internal market is the creation of conditions conducive to the development of services and products Union-wide and within Member States.Public sector information or information collected, produced, reproduced, and disseminated within the exercise of a public task or a service of general interest, is an important primary material for digital content products and services and will become an even more important content resource with the development of advanced digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, distributed ledger technologies and the internet of things. Broad, cross-border geographical coverage will also be essential in that context. Increased possibilities of re-using such information is expected, inter alia, to allow all Union businesses, including microenterprises and SMEs, as well as civil society, to exploit its potential and contribute to economic development and high-quality job creation and protection, especially for the benefit of local communities, and to important societal goals such as accountability and transparency.
The data itself is available to the public in https://remap.jrc.ec.europa.eu/Advanced.aspx
I can understand that you do not have the time to fight the almighty bureaucrazy... But it may be worth to try again?

@Canne Hello, the communication was a bit more complex between us and their side and unfortunately it ended with this result. I am sorry about it, but for now, we are not planning to provide this data.
