Changes to Connection Station ID Length. 0 char appended.

BROKEN FIELD DEPLOYED DEVICES URGENT ATTENTION

Suddenly the station id has changed from 8 chars to 9. A 0 has appeared appended to previous station ID of 8 char length.

Is this a programming error? 0 binary confused with 0 char?

This has broken all of our field deployed devices that can not have their firmware reflashed.

Please fix.

Possible fix idea: Change our station IDs back or allow first 8 char match if last char is 0.
