I see that for the weather alert in Italy windy uses "Meteoalarm" instead of the weather alert of the civil protection, and I wanted to ask if this can be changed: in this way, all the Italian people can use windy to see the official weather alert, because Meteoalarm isn't an official alert. Then, the new CAP alert can be very useful because they show the official weather alert and in this way we can also see all the weather alerts in Italy, that is difficult with the normal site of the civil protection. Then, I see that the alert of Meteoalarm sometimes isn't affidable, because they say something that no model sees. I know that it is easier to show the alert of Meteoalarm instead of the alert of civil protection because it is very frammentary, but if you can change this, the alert on windy can be more useful than now. I hope a lot that this will be changed

@RicBul Hello, we take this data from Meteoblue and they are responsible for sources, If you provide the source that should be used, we can forward it to them.

@Suty The Italian Civil Protection Department already publishes the official national alert polygons as GIS datasets (SHP and XML) used to generate the national Criticality Bulletin map. Even if a public REST API is not available, Windy could ingest the official GIS datasets directly. Here there is the link of the map on the site of the civil protection: "https://mappe.protezionecivile.gov.it/it/mappe-rischi/bollettino-di-criticita/". This is a simple mode for integrating the Italian weather alert on windy, but the civil protection doesn't have an API for this. If you want the API, you have to search in every site of the regional civil protection, but not all of them publish public data.
I hope that Windy will manages to change the weather alert.

@RicBul The DPC has an "API" they publish the geojson every day on GitHub: https://github.com/pcm-dpc/DPC-Bollettini-Criticita-Idrogeologica-Idraulica/tree/master/files

Usually they publish it as 15:30/16:00 CEST and they publish a Today and Tomorrow warning.

@YacineBoussoufa Oh ok, thank you very much! I made some research and I discover the git hub hall of DPC: https://github.com/pcm-dpc?utm_source=chatgpt.com. So, @suty, you can forward this link to meteoblue. I really hope that windy can change this. I wish you a good day.
