Persist or Save Forecast Model

I see there was another post requesting this in 2022, but it has not been implemented.

Every time I start the app or visit the web I have to set the forecast model I want to use. It is cumbersome.

Why doesn't the setting persist, or have it as a savable option in settings?

I know that if you set the startup layer to "last", that will also remember the model, but I don't want it to always open with the last layer I viewed.

In any case, the chosen model should persist.

@ieThis Thanks for your post – it really is so annoying. I’ve brought this up several times over the years, but nothing’s happened. It can’t be that difficult, can it?
