<p dir="auto">forecast freezing level height + model elevation.</p>
</blockquote>
<p dir="auto">In the image example below, I have selected a location over northeast Victoria, Australia within the Australian Alps. The freezing altitude line displayed in the Route Cut window appears to be a combination of the forecast frz level and model elevation.</p>

<p dir="auto">Surface temps are less than -25C....so it is expected the Freezing Altitude should be ZERO and drawn adjacent to the continental surface topography.<br />
In the image above, the altitude of the Freezing Altitude line is simply a doubling of the surface altitude.</p>
<p dir="auto">I find this erroneous and misleading when viewing the Freezing Alt in the VFR route cut window.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is the Route Cut display created in-house?<br />
And if so, could your development team consider only displaying the model Freezing Altitude line as that displayed in the main forecast window and removing the additional surface altitude quantity?</p>
