Jellyfish maps

There are jellyfish maps, but they're not in Windy.

The examples that come to mind are meduseo.com and medusapp.net

They work based on reports, but a critical mass of reports is necessary for it to be effective.

At least Medusapp, exists by virtue of academic research (MarLabUA-Dénia
Laboratorio Marino de la Universidad de Alicante en Dénia). I think there is a real possibility to get a free or at a cost or cheap access to their datasets, and integration with a much more popular app like windy, will help reach that critical mass of reports for it to be useful.

Please, think about it, I'd really like not only the easier access of having it all in one app, but to help these apps to reach the critical mass of reports.
