Instructions for auto renewal

Hello,
I am new to app subscriptions, until now I only used one-time-purchase apps.
My account balance is usually zero, since I don't like to have an extra wallet with money not being used.
I cannot find clear instructions at Windy how it works. Will I get a reminder before renewal, with the amount deeded for renewal?
I guess not.
In my account at Windy I can only see my current subscription:
There is no way to find out what the next year is going to cost so that I can transfer the correct amount on forehand. That info can easily be added to my Subscriptions page.This could be better explained by Windy. Not everyone uses Apple account as an extra wallet.

@HanVroon Hello, I checked your account and subscription, and you made a purchase via AppStore. Any info about the renewal, etc. is handled by them as the subscription provider.

So that means that the Appstore decides what the amount for the renewal will be, not Windy?
If not, it would be nice if Windy would somehow mention that the renewal will cost 25,99, not just that something is wrong with my payment method.
As said, I don't keep unused balances in wallets with money everywhere, so my Apple wallet is empty as log as I don't purchase anything (a few times per year).
Now my subscription was interrupted and I had to find out somewhere what a Premium subscription would cost now.
