Zoom in Radar Widget

I've seen a lot of posts about this, but they're all quite old so I'm going to bring it back to the top.
I'd really like for the radar widget to have more zoom levels. Many of us live in either smaller countries, or need more local weather. For example, I live in New Mexico and the radar widget covers the entire state, but I'm only interested in a very specific county. I use the radar view to help predict flash floods in the area, so for me it's very critical that I have good resolution on the area in question. Obviously I end up just using the app because the widget doesn't have enough zoom, but it would be wonderful if the widget could show it so I wouldn't have to open up the app every single time I check.
