Feature Request: Wind animation over time

Windy is great. I use it for many purposes, but mostly sailing. The wind animations on the map are fabulous but what I really need is a time lapse version over a time window like 6/12/24/48 hours so I can see where the winds will be when.
If that is possible now I cannot figure out how to do it. I have to scroll the timeline with my finger then I can't see the time I'm viewing.

@ijstokes ,hi i use youtube and wx sites social media channels to scoop up such reels made by real weather fanatics who lives in a dark room surrounded by hi tech film equip and pc knowledge far beyond mine BASIC (an it language) knowhow. earthschool has tons of it and if you comment a request some might help.

I have to scroll the timeline with my finger then I can't see the time I'm viewing.
Here is what you should see at bottom of your phone screen. Here, on an iPhone. I find it hard to imagine that you wouldn't be able to see the time by scrolling.

@idefix37 you're right, my comment wasn't accurate. I've also realized that depending on the screen I'm viewing there is a PLAY button to press.
Let me refine my comment: being able to see a smooth transition wind animation would be great. Currently it jumps at each one hour forecast transition.
