This temperature is displayed in Basic table.

Personally, I don't see the point of showing "feels-like" temperature maps of merely subjective temperature.

@idefix37 The perceived temperature needs to be checked for a specific location, it doesn't seem as intuitive as showing it on a map.

@idefix37 On meteoblue, you can select the feels-like temperature and display it on a map, then click on a specific location to see the feels-like temperature value. This way of displaying is more intuitive than just choosing a single location.

@admin1031 Right now, we offer this Feels like temp. for the first time so we decided to display this dataset in our forecast detail. If there will be any more significant feedback about this, we can implement the map with this dataset as well, but it is not planned for now.

@Suty I have another question. Currently, China has a global weather model called CMA-GFS with a data resolution of 12.5 km. Will this model be added to the Windy program?

@admin1031 Hello, as far as I am aware, this model is not planned now. We have general trouble with access in China, we have many reports about disfunction of our whole app there, since the local network is trying a lot to block our app. So from this perspective, we are not planning any local model now.

@Suty As a user, I don't seem to have encountered this situation. Nowadays, many people in China use Windy, and it works fine. Plus, domestic network technology in China has already been upgraded to 5G, so the internet speed is pretty fast now.

@Suty As a Chinese user, I can normally access the mobile app and desktop website, but the Windy web version on my phone is very slow and basically won't open. I wonder if using a VPN would make it a bit faster.

@admin1031 Can you please test this VPN usage for us?

@admin1031 Hi, yes, we try to let our Chinese users to access Windy.com even though there are some restrictions on Chinese government's side. That means that access from China is unfortunately much slower than we'd like it to be. VPNs should make it faster, as long as their exit nodes are (obviously) outside of the PRC.

@Suty I basically don't use VPN software anymore. The Windy website and app can open normally, but there are occasional fluctuations. Just refreshing the program or webpage usually solves it, so it mostly works fine.

@Suty I used to use VPN software mainly to access foreign weather numerical model websites. Loading images or opening web pages would be relatively slow, so I had to choose nodes with low foreign latency to optimize access speed. But compared to Windy, I think Windy’s access speed is still pretty good—the website and app open in just a few seconds.

@selverob I think it's okay, not particularly slow, at least it's usable.

This % shows the predictability calculated by Meteoblue based on their multi-model. It is considered valid for every model as stated in this related thread and particularly in the article from Meteoblue quoted in this thread.

@HardikP Apps are in the release process, so by the end of the next week (Until 7th August) all users should have an access to an update.
