I discussed this with colleagues responsible for this and we don't see any larger outage anywhere for now, so we would need more info.

@Suty I can't give you any more info. All I see is a gray screen that says windy.com at the top.

@Suty I use firefox on my laptop. I don't the app on my phone but I can get to the site.

Also, can you please open the Devtools in the browser (F12) and share the screenshot from there? It would help our colleagues to get more info about the issue, you have.

@Suty About a week. It stopped working about the same time I got a notice my subscription was going to be renewed.

Solution: Turn on Graphics Acceleration (a.k.a. Hardware Video Acceleration in Firefox.) And also the devs can fix that uncaught error so the page loads, lol.

@Mavendow Hi, this is not about devs not fixing uncaught error... Windy requires WebGL (the mentioned HW acceleration) and without it it won't load.

@schilpat The error isn't handled at all which suggests that this was a typo rather than deliberate way of handling the error... Since it's unhandled.

But please, do tell me more about how deselecting a normal setting in every modern web browser should break the entire website. It's an interesting way of coding I've not heard of before.

Sarcasm aside, there should at least be a message informing users of this, not a complete crash.

@Mavendow Hi, I looked at it, and you are right that no error message is being displayed right now - but this must be some recent degeneration, since we implemented the WebGL error message (and robust WebGL context support handling) the day we completely migrated to WebGL-only (a year ago). This should be fixed in the next version.

I am sorry, but this statement is similar to "disabling JavaScript completely broke the page". This is not about deselecting a normal setting. WebGL is an essential technology required for implementing custom GPU-accelerated rendering, without which Windy wouldn't perform well.
