How do revert / disable Meteoblue ?

Hello, just to check - in "Settings for location forecast," did you also switch the tiny toggle that's to the left of the "Always open as" setting? It needs to be switched on so that your settings are respected. With the toggle enabled (white background) it works for me.

@selverob Thank you for the suggestion, well seen! My everyday Windy on Vivaldi has this setting on. For this test I launched it also on Firefox: it also has this setting selected. As mentioned, I had some good results, maybe the way you did, but the procedure was unstable for persistence and unpredictable for success with only these two browsers on the same PC.
Edit: I tried again and with setting ex. GFS on Firefox, then logging out on both browsers and then logging back in on both, the setting was changed to GFS on both. But this reminds me that I have another session open on my navigation computer and on a tablet, both of which I cannot access now. Perhaps they are the culprit for changing this setting back to the default value, Meteoblue?
I still think that this type of setting should not be in this dialog, but in the user's profile settings, for clarity and for clear authority. Unless you decide to keep it applicable only for a browser or for a device on which the setting is changed, then it makes sense. -

@idefix37 I got hold of my tablet and it has been updated, meanwhile, to mobile.html v51.0.1 - I got this Mr. Jeeves AI-question, dreaded by many.
I can confirm that when all of my two browsers and the tablet app are in the same room, I can set, for example, the default weather model to my liking in the tablet app, refresh the local weather window on my two browsers and they follow the tablet's settings.
This happens in a highly unintuitive manner, which - I believe - confuses deeply some users, as we have seen in comments/posts.
Windy: put these in the user's profile settings if you are using profile parameters stored in the cloud. Thanks. -

@selverob Yes, I used that setting. It still does not work. After logging out of all my devices and logging back in, it works successfully on the first login, but upon refreshing the page, it just reverts back to Meteoblue.

@selverob Something has changed today. Now, when I refresh the page, it defaults to the European weather model, even though I selected "GFS" as the default. Seems very random? Here is a screenshot.

@mrgalaxy Okay, so with this setup, when you close and open Windy in the browser, ECMWF is back again as a default?

@Suty Yes, that's correct, even though I have selected GFS. But, again, recall that: If I logout and login GFS does get selected (from my settings), but if I refresh the page, it reverts back to ECMWF. So this behavior appears not to be specific to Meteoblue, per-se. It's reverting back to "some" default, despite the setting that I've chosen.

@idefix37 The setting is not working for everyone. We are all aware of the setting I believe. It is an actual bug. The settings works for us on initial login, but when the page is refreshed the setting no longer works anymore.

I concur, seeing same behavior on iPhone. Latest app version updated today. Source doesn’t reflect model chosen.

Your issue is indeed real when you select "Wind" instead of "Basic."
I apologize for not noticing it in your screenshot.
My screenshot only showed "Basic" mode. Most users need help when "Basic" mode is selected and in this mode, the forecast setting works. -
@banatmfees Same here on IOS IPhone and IPad. As a fulltime Sailor i often use the Map with the Wind Settings to get an overview where to Go etc.
Since MBluAi the displayed Wind on the Map dos not correspond with the Wind shown in the Bottom of the Map.
On another Pad where i did not updated the App and Not switched to MBlueAi everything works.
Would be nice if that would be fixed soon, in this condition is in not usable for me.

The Meteoblue model is not able to display a map. So the map does not correspond with the forecast table if Meteoblue is selected for this table.
I agree, this is not clear. -
