I I don't know how you got those figures for Wenatchee in Windy.
I am seeing very different conditions right now.

Those figures were from yesterday. what do you see now? Air now shows 941 now in east wenatchee, windy shows 118. What's up?

It seems that the Air Quality Index that you show on AirNow is from an air quality station and concerns only the PM2.5.
Your screenshot from Windy map displays the Air Quality Index for a mix of pollutants.
Click on the small i at right bottom corner of your screen to see this information and more:

Sorry I don't see how that helps me understand.
I don't see an 'i'.
I'm looking for PM2.5, which Airnow uses. Why doesn't Windy show similar values. Why is there such a large discrepancy?
I would appreciate a more insightful answer.

According to one of your screenshot you are using the browser version and so you should see that:

In Windy there is a map of PM2.5 and a map or Air Quality Index. Your screenshots show you are using the Air Quality Index map.

In addition in Windy there are Air Quality stations in the list of POIs.
