Mblue AI

I don't want this model. How do I delete it? How do I add others?

It still displays on the main screen even if I switch the model. There should be a way to remove a model completely because it is wildly inaccurate. Will not be renewing subscription if I cannot remove that model or go back to classic.

@Brett-Ellis-2
Even with the setting displayed here above ? -
I have the same probleme. Once you decide to try this MeteoBlue AI you can’t get ridd of it again. Something to stop to be Premium Member.
Even if you Switch to ECMWF the source is still AI

@Bluewater555
Did you look at my screenshot above? -
@idefix37 my screen it set like yours. But every time I open the app the prévision are still on mblue AI. And this is not usable informations.

@Vincent988
You seem to be a free user, not Premium. You probably see a crown on this setting which is only available to Premium users. -
@idefix37 I am a premium member, and cannot get the mblueAI off as my default. I changed my settings to be ECMWF (which it had been previously), and it'll show ECMWF as my saved default, but when I close and reopen the app, mblue AI is back as my default. I didn't even mean to click the consent for it when the prompt showed up asking if I wanted to use it, but I was distracted and clicked ok...totally my fault. I didn't think it would be a huge deal though, and I'd be able to get back to my regular settings. Unfortunately this seems like an option, but it's not as it always defaults back to the mblue AI.
As you can see from my photo, I'm in the right area settings wise, and have changed it to ECMWF. Unfortunately when I close and reopen the app it changes my default back to mblue AI automatically. https://photos.app.goo.gl/qrFVdF1FE9gzNG6P6

@Sarah-Dawn
This is because you must toggle this switch
By the way the easiest way to post a screenshot:

Show us what “source” says on your app even after toggling the switch and you will see the issue everyone is bringing up.
I actually think you’re a terrible moderator because you keep providing unhelpful “solution” instead of listening to what the community is trying to tell you. At least the developer in a different forum is now acknowledging some issues observed with the new AI rollout.

@banatmfees
It works for me.

Here I’m just a Windy user trying to help other users.
End of discussion. -

@banatmfees I have exactly the same issue and this is very frustrating!
I truly hope this is a bug and they can do something about it. -
@Dieter-0
Have you read the reply to your previous message?
If you are referring to the message from @banatmfees regarding the comparison of different models in the "Wind" section, the "meteoblue AI" label is simply wrong. It does not apply to the map, as that model is not capable of generating a weather map, and meteoblue has NO influence over the other models. -
@idefix37 Yes, I did, but unfortunately, the presented solution doesn't work.
When I go to the settings for the location forecast, I can indeed switch it to ECMWF and when using windy in the same window, it does use ECMWF as primary model. BUT ... when I want to use a sounding, it automatically switches back to MeteoBlue AI. It would be more logical that if one chooses to use one particular model, Windy would keep using this model troughout all forecasting products until one chooses to use another model.
And there is a second 'but': when I close my window and reopen Windy in another window, it switches back to Meteoblue AI, even though my settings are set to ECMWF in the location forecast preferences.

-
For information: when using the App on my phone, the ECMWF data is used for the location forecast. So in the app my settings are saved.
But ... when I open a sounding in the app, even though my forecast model on my screen is ECMWF, the app wants to use Meteoblue for the sounding and I get a message that ECMWF is used because Meteoblu is not supported. -
@Dieter-0
OK I understand.
I hope the developers will take your issue into account. -
