Forced into AI mode

Dear Windy team, I've been a subscriber and advocate for your app since 2019. Im very unhappy with being forced towards the AI forecasting by your app reducing the information presented in the non AI mode. The energy and water consumption of data centres that AI relies on are a significant contributor to the factors in climate change. It's insanity to force people to use AI that contributes to the very unpredictability that we need the app to help navigate.

I know how to do it thanks.
I'm also good enough to know how to interpret weather for my own locality without AI junk.
Please stop telling me how great it is and shoving me to use it.
"do you want to use our fab AI model or some other junk?" is the message. Sick of it.
Venture capitalists have profit to make. They aren't going to let truth get in the way of a good sales pitch.

@reetp We still use the same model made by Meteoblue that we have been using for years now. If you were satisfied with that model, it is still the same one.

The AI you pushed is complete rubbish and totally off compared to other models. I can change to a preferred model and next time open the app it comes back as default. If you have multiple saved locations on that overview page it also defaults to the crap AI model even if you changed the setting above. MBlue AI is rubbish and we should have the ability to turn it off or go back to classic. Won’t be renewing if an option to turn off or remove models isn’t added.

regarding both the web version as well as the IOS Apps: it is not only the AI mode in and as of itself, it is also the new way the screen with the comparative overview has been designed with a black background (nobody asked for) which is extremely unhelpful and which always switches back from the basic 15 day 1/h mode I use to 7 days/ full day overview mode, no matter what I do. I am extremely annoyed and will probably need to find another option for my weather an certainly will not continue a subscription on this basis. Can Windy please revert to the previous version? I am experiencing live how to move from being an avid supporter and fan to absolutely hating the app.
Also I can only echo that the AI version is really not an improvement.

If Meteoblue is used in the detailed forecast table, the map is derived from another model because Meteoblue cannot produce a weather map. So 2 different models may display different wind direction.

@idefix37 I have selected "basic" and fx as "hrrr" yet it continues to show mblueai and the barbs don't match the data. Seems like barbs are showing an hour before the time stamp or something. Worked before the Mblueai option was selected. Can I unselect it somehow?

When I'm on the basic data it shows model as hrrr, when I switch to wind data, it's goes to "source: MblueAI regardless of hrrr being selected

I understand that you get this anomaly
Meteoblue is not the right weather model because this non-gridded model cannot be used for tha map.
This error needs to be fixed. -
@idefix37 exactly, that's the desktop but mobile is similar problem. See how the barb on the map for ukv Model at 9:00 is 18-24 but the data is 16-20.
This would be easier if sharing a screen shot were simpler on this forum
