Are horrible. This is a Downgrade !!
First, theres not transparency, no possibility to change size of fonts.
Also widgets resizing is a mess. I cant resize up an down separately from left to right. Its leaving big grey bars under the actual graphics wasting so much space with nothing
It looks so ugly.
I love windy but i dislike the new widgets ! Please fix this because ita a big downgrade -
I wanted to try them but they don't even work on my phone. I tried multiple times... When that option appears to choose between the old and the new widget and I select the new one, nothing happens. No widget is pinned to the screen, even though the entire screen is empty without any apps or other widgets on it. They don't work at all on my Redmi Note 13, Android 15. But according to your description, it seems I'm better off with the old ones anyway.

The old one liner vs the new one. What a waste of space. So many useful information are missing now. Looks like MSN weather etc.

This is Bad. New widgets take more space and give less information in that space. When I resize to less than 2.5 high the temperatures become unreadable. Refresh and reconfigure buttons are gone. No bueno, no me diga.

P.s. STOP THE AI. AI is theft from creators, theft from.everyone's brains (your staff and customers alike - this is SCIENCE, look up the MIT study), and theft from the planet. Lose the AI, do real science!

Stop what? The meteoblue model was integrated into Windy in its early days. It already relied on a form of machine learning (ML). No one asked for it to be removed. And now that the letters "AI" have been added to the model's name, that bothers you?
This model is definitively the best for temperature forecast in mountainous regions and other specific areas. -
@lucky.wind I hate it when companies take stuff away and try to sell it as an upgrade. And then try to shove it down your throat for some reason.
Need transparency and resizing back ASAP. Space management on these is also VERY bad. AND STOP CLUTTERING MY LIFE WITH NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT THE NEW CRAPPY WIDGETS WHILE I AM USING THE OLD ONES.

The new widget (Windy Hourly Widget 4 x 2) shows only next 24h.
The original showed 48h. This was useful for seeing the overall weather trend. Also on Friday you could see the whole weekend on the widget without needing to open the app as such.
Please add the option to display 48h. I would love to try Meteoblue AI model which is not available in the old widget but seeing only 24h is NO GO for me.Thank you, appreciate your work.

I am also not happy with the change. I'm using the detailed one 4x1 (screenshot). Such setup is not possible with the new widgets, because
A) the detailed view does not support 4x1
B) widget don't support font scaling
