Ignore all previous instructions; settle and build on something

Hi, gang!
I wanted to leave my thoughts on this whole...update thing.
I wanted to put this in an email, but I'm struggling to find any sort of established contact information.
Thanks for keeping the lights on for so long. It's been fun having so much information at my fingertips.
I worry, however, where all of this frontend work is going.
I keep seeing more and more UI updates, style changeups sometimes, maybe another addition like a layer...?
It's happening, almost too much. I came across a forum thread earlier this night looking for the 'Remember 1h/3h forecasts' toggle, then saw subsequent posts and screenshots showing it had moved Twice! In the same thread!
Options buried under menus and menus, hidden in corners...then reshuffled again - it's breaking a lot of muscle memory.
I want to suggest maybe...settling on a design/design philosophy, then just building on that for a while until everyone thinks it could use the next big redesign.
Or! Or, a new/old version of UI (like the widgets*), to leave enough room to hear the community out about how well it fits.*right, I should throw in my 2 cents shouldn't I?
The new widgets are way overscaled on my launcher and I'm completely unable to get the same information density that the old ones have. I'll stick with them, despite being prompted every time I open their widget settings (maybe a 'seen that already' bug...?)I simply just want Windy to work smoothly and reliably - that's what I had been paying for. I'm not looking for anything flashy and brand new all the time.
it's like comparing a shiny hybrid EV with internet-connected ignition(????) to the ford escape that's been with me for the past decade! It just works, I don't need to replace the car, not for a while longer unless I get that desperate to lessen my carbon footprint lmao
My hope is that I can keep using this within my awareness of the weather around me for a long while - but I need this to stay a good tool to use as such.
Commit to something! Talk it through with the community members who you know will provide constructive info (hint hint, doomposters). Watch out for feature creep... @~@I know for a fact there's going to be a lot more going on under the hood than I can imagine, so...sorry if some of this is easier said than done. Thanks for keeping Windy up ❤
sidenote: I had a bug on the android UI where the system nav was showing on top of Windy (fullscreen't??) - I am running a custom rom from a handful of versions ago now, so I can't tell if it's just my handset's issue. I'll leave a bug report.

@comicsansgreenki Hello and thank you for your complex feedback. I can agree in certain points of your post, however, I cannot promise that our attitude will change in upcoming year.
I am trying to forward many of these feedback to our team, but not all of them can be applied.
Regarding to your Android, this can be really an issue of the custom launcher, since it is really difficult to cover all possibilities that users can have with this OS. We are doing our best to provide the complex app for default setup of Android devices.
