Scales disappear in flight planning mode

When I go into flight planning mode, the scale that normally appears on the bottom right of the screen (Chrome browser version) disappears.

Here's the bottom right of my screen (visibility forecast is selected) when I'm not in flight planning mode...

And here it is in flight planning mode...

How do I get that scale to show in planning mode? Thanks!

Wait! I think I figured this out - the bottom portion of the screen is scaled to the length of the flight. That bottom portion gives the color and the predicted value. OK, that's actually pretty cool.
