Windy app on the Pixel Watch 4
-
Hi there,
Just installed Windy on my new Pixel watch 4 and when using the wind forecast screen it only displays the forecast for the current time. How do I advance the time of the forcast?

@Mark-Adams-5 Hi. Timeline is tied to the crown of the device. Can you please try to rotate it? Let us know if it works. Thank you in advance.
-
It works! Thanks a lot!
-
@MarkNagy it works but needs a lot of rotation to register.
-
@qtslot after some more fiddling it seems that the crown needs to be rotated significantly (like a full rotation at least and really quickly. Making it harder to operate than it could be. It would be nice to move one step at a time with something like a quarter of a revolution, even when done slower.
-
@MarkNagy interestingly to go forward in time it takes lots of rotation but going back in time requires tiny amounts of rotation.
-
Hi. Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look at this. Meanwhile I added tap and long tap on date to move the timeline forward. It will be in the next version.

Hi. We’ve released a new Wear OS version. I’d appreciate it if you could let me know whether the crown behavior has improved with this update.
Thank you!
-
@MarkNagy My version is 51.0.1, is that the new version if not how do I force an update? In 51.0.1 version crown wheel behaviour appears to be the same.
-
@Mark-Adams-5 The latest version is 51.1.2. It was released today, so maybe it takes some time until play store makes it available for everyone.
-
@MarkNagy I've forced an update (now showing version 51.1.2) and can confirm the crownwheel behaviour is so much better. In fact, to me it feels ideal. Thanks for the update.

@Mark-Adams-5 Great! I am glad it works fine. Your feedback is always appreciated, so let us know if you find anything else.
