Enable to use Windy APP

Hello, I am a professional meteorologist from China using Windy. Currently, I am unable to use most functions of Windy properly. All meteorological parameters fail to update and the application cannot open. Could you please help investigate the root cause? Thank you.

Same situation here too, it won't display any data the last time I checked (Aug. 17 15:00Z), and now it still won't update.

I also encountered the same issue around 6 AM this morning. All pages in the app failed to load.

Hello, this is unfortunately related to China's Great Firewall, which blocks the IPs of our provider. We used to have a workaround implemented for Chinese users, but due to extreme amounts of abuse it has received in the past few months and the large amount of work it took to maintain it, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it. Especially after our tests showed that only some Chinese users could access Windy through it anyway, since some providers or provinces already blocked even this workaround. We are very sorry about that. For now, the only thing we can recommend is using a VPN.

@阳-杨-5 @lemona302 Since we want to be completely apolitical app, we cannot do much to affect this China's Great Firewall behavior that blocks us and limit our services. We can only suggest using VPN tool that can work as a workaround on your end and you are then able to use our app again.

windy app problem，u should to change and solve，or the app finally can not use in china forever，we hope w indy can face and solve problems instead of avoiding them.
