Wind direction & swell

Is there a way to overlap two layers on the map, swell and wind together are very useful, I know there is the option for a spot where the swell and wind is shown with arrows but will be more useful in layer for wide areas...

The resulting effect from wind waves and swells on sea surface is shown by the Waves layer.

So there is no need to overlap 2 layers which gives generally poor results.
